Data controllers and contacts

Plurimente, Lda., Portuguese tax identification number 510 543 979, is the controller for personal data processing associated with managing this website. For privacy matters relating to the website, contact [email protected].

Each practitioner is the controller for the personal data in the appointment requests they receive. Only the practitioner contacted accesses and responds to those messages:

You can use these contact details to exercise your rights with the practitioner responsible for your request.

Visiting the website

You can browse this website without creating an account or completing a form. We do not install advertising tools, tracking pixels or tools that analyse visitors’ behaviour. The website’s code does not use cookies or local storage to track browsing. Fonts and images are hosted with the site itself.

Cloudflare Pages hosts the website. To deliver and protect it, Cloudflare processes technical connection data, which may include IP addresses and traffic information. Providing the website securely is based on the legitimate interest in keeping it operational and preventing abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy information.

Making an enquiry or requesting an appointment

When you contact a practitioner, you provide the information in your communication, such as your name, email address or telephone number, message and availability. This information is used to respond and, if you wish, arrange an appointment.

Processing the information necessary for an appointment request is based on taking steps at your request before providing the service. Responding to other enquiries is based on the legitimate interest in providing the information you have asked for.

For an initial enquiry, please provide a way for us to respond and the general reason for your request. Avoid sending reports or clinical details that are unnecessary for arranging an appointment. Health information necessary for care is processed by the practitioner within the legal framework for healthcare and under a duty of professional confidentiality. This page does not replace information relating to treatment and clinical records.

You are not required to request an appointment or provide information through the published contact details. Without a way to contact you, we may be unable to respond. The website does not make automated decisions about appointment requests or profile visitors.

External services

Email, telephone and WhatsApp are channels external to this website. Their providers process the data necessary to operate those services. When managing requests, access to messages is limited to the practitioner contacted; this does not exclude technical processing by communication providers.

Online consultations use Microsoft Teams and are arranged directly with the practitioner. There is no calendar or video consultation integration on this website. Links to WhatsApp and Google Maps open those services, which are subject to their own privacy terms.

Cloudflare uses international infrastructure. Its data protection terms provide for transfers outside the European Economic Area and safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable. The terms and safeguards are available in Cloudflare’s data processing agreement. For information about the communication services used for your enquiry, contact the responsible practitioner.

Data retention

Initial enquiries that do not lead to consultations are deleted within 30 days of the last exchange of messages, or sooner if no longer needed to respond. Each practitioner is responsible for applying this period to the enquiries they receive.

This period does not apply to clinical records or documents subject to a legal retention requirement. A legal obligation or a specific need to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim may justify keeping strictly necessary information for longer, with restricted access.

Technical hosting logs follow Cloudflare’s retention conditions, according to the type of data and the service’s operational and security purposes. The 30-day period for initial enquiries does not apply to those logs.

Your rights

Where provided for by law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier processing.

For website-related data, contact [email protected]. For information in an appointment request, contact Gonçalo Neves or Filipa Neves directly, depending on which practitioner you approached.

You may also complain to Portugal’s data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.
